This is the short version of the case of a travel agency in Kyiv. The full story, with every explanation, is on the case page. Here is the gist: what we did, what we saw in the first days, and what these numbers do not prove.
Where the data comes from
All figures come from the client's dashboard, October 2026. The agency started with us at the end of September, so this is the newest of our cases: a beginning, not the results of a season. The first lead reached the dashboard on 29 September.
Who the client is
The agency sells trips. Its client is someone who has already decided to go on holiday and is looking for someone to trust with the planning. People like that often ask for advice on social media: where to go and which agent to use. How such requests sound is shown by an example from our research sample, paraphrased from a real post: “Can anyone recommend a travel agent they trust? I want a proper all-inclusive in Turkey or Egypt with really good food.”
What people write about travel more broadly is covered in What people asked about travel in September. It has the Index figures and examples paraphrased from real posts.
What we set up
We set up a search for this business: queries about trips and holidays. The first lead reached the dashboard on 29 September. The agency sees every reply before it goes out and decides whether to send it.
What came out
In the first 3 days (29 September to 1 October), 38 leads appeared in the dashboard. The agency has already sent 22 replies. An outcome is tracked for only 4 people so far, and all 4 replied.
The source of the figures is client dashboard data, October 2026.
What these numbers do not say
Three days is a start, not a result. So we skip a few conclusions.
- About sales. We cannot see in the dashboard how many of these conversations ended in a booked trip, so we do not talk about money.
- About the season. We do not know whether this flow depends on the time of year, and we do not claim it will continue the same way.
- About the share of replies. “4 of 4” is all that is tracked now: it is not a conversion rate and not a share of all 38 leads.
What to take from this
For a travel agency, this case shows one thing: searching public posts found 38 leads in the first three days. Only time will show whether that turns into sales, and we will come back to the figures when there are more of them.
If you want to see what people search for in your line of business, start with the Travel demand page: it holds a sample of requests with examples. The full case with the same figures is on its own page.
